As you know, I’m a really big fan of natural beaches, but the most I love small coasts with cliff lines – there’s nothing more breathtaking! Because of the cliffs and stones the water is crystal clear and blue – a real miracle of nature. In Sardinia there is one special part of the island which is famous for its wonderful beaches: the 30 kilometers long bay of the Golf of Orosei, which is located on the eastern coast of Sardinia. Many of the beaches of Orosei can only be reached by boat – but from the first second on I knew that I definitely want to go there!
We had to drive about 1 ½ hours eastward to the port of Santa Maria Navarrese, because the hotel we stayed was situated in the south-eastern of Sardinia. A boat brought us to one of the most beautiful bays of Sardinia: Cala Mariolu.
Words can’t describe how beautiful that beach was, I think the pictures will speak more than thousand words…
very nice!
