Have you ever scrolled through someone’s Instagram feed and thought: “Wow, such a beautiful spot. I wonder where this was taken.” At least I’m thinking this quite a few times. For some popular destinations like Venice many Instagrammers created with their photos a deep craving to shoot the exact same photos on the exact same spot, simply because they are picture perfect and so Instagram-like!
I’ve been to Venice a few weeks ago and spotted some of the most famous and most perfect Instagram spots to take unforgettable pictures and I tell you where you can find them!

PICTURE PERFECT INSTAGRAM SPOTS IN VENICE
#1 Small canal in Dorsoduro District
The main district in Venice is called San Marco, but this is also the busiest and most crowded. If you want to have Venice almost for yourself, even in high saison, you should also visit other districts, such as Dorsoduro, where this wonderful picture was taken. Isn’t it picture perfect?
#2 Scala Contarini del Bovolo
The Scala Contarini del Bovolo is a beautiful antique tower from where you have an amazing view over whole Venice. It’s a bit hidden and the entry costs 7 euros per person, maybe that’s why it is not so crowded and people rather take pictures from outside. When we where there we had the tower almost for us alone and could take the Instagram-like photos like this one. Just put the name of the tower into your Google Maps and you will find it very easily, it’s also quite in the center of Venice.
#3 Suso Ice Cream
Who doesn’t know it, the famous Suso Ice Cream of Venice! I can tell you, it’s really delicious! Google Maps will lead you there directly, it’s near the Rialto Bridge. Right after you bought the ice cream, you go a few meters straight forward and then you will come to a small bridge where you can take this picture.
#4 Rialto Bridge
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous bridge in whole Venice, everybody wants to have a picture of it. The spot where this photo was taken is also one of the most famous on Instagram, you just have to cross the bridge if you’re coming from San Marco district and you will see the spot with the red and white striped pier.
#5 “Private Balcony”
This next picture looks like I’m standing on a private hotel balcony. The truth is that I’m standing on a balcony which is free accessible through a small bridge. It was the same bridge where we took our Suso ice cream photo.
#6 Hotel San Moisé
There it is – the most famous picture of Venice: A girl sitting alone on a wooden pier, watching gondolas passing by. If you don’t know where this spot is, you might never find it, as it is very hidden. Now I tell you the secret: All you have to do is put into your Google Maps the hotel named San Moisé. It will lead you there directly.
Although this spot is so famous it is very quiet and we had this place for us alone quite a while. It really was my favourite place in Venice!
